Water Damage Carpet Repair
After some water damage to one of our rooms, some padding had to be replaced and the carped re-stretched and fastened down. Curly’s Flooring did a great job and left the room with no mess and looking good. All I had to do was run the vacuum and put the furniture back. Contemplating new carpet my wife and I decided it would be logical to repair the squeaks in several high use areas in our nearly 50-year old home. We ere surprized to encounter difficulties in finding a Vancouver-area contractors experienced in squeak repair.
Turning to the internet we discovered the website of Curlys Carpet Repair, which although primarily advertised carpet repair also mentioned squeaky floor repair. This turned out to be a fortunate find leading to a visit by Pabloto assess our situation. He proved to be a very engaging and helpful person and after further discussion we accepted his reasonable quotation to repair the problem areas.
Pablo worked very efficiently, taking special care to call my attention where squeaks could not be entirely eliminated, particularly for the stairs and he worked an extended day to complete the the repairs and replacement of the old carpeting in one day to minimize inconvenience to our normal use of our home.

I had to get my house ready to put up for sale and replacing the basement carpet was not something my realtor though I didn’t have to spend on . There was a small area that frayed which didnt look nice at all. I called Curlys carpet repair and they repaired the frayed area and made my carpet look perfect without having to spend a fortune. I had to get some stairwell carpet repaired that had been mangled by a cat over a period of time in many different spots. There was prompt arrival on short notice the same day, quick determination as to what would be involved to fix the parts of the carpet that had been pulled up in different areas, and then it was fixed efficiently, professionally, and quickly. It’s always great to experience a company and service that knows what they’re doing.

There were lots of ripples in our upstairs carpet from poor initial installation but Pablo was able to work magic and make them disappear. He showed up early and worked late to ensure the job got done. I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend his services to others.

Update (05/15/14) I asked Pablo to come by and remove a carpet bubble in our oddly shaped flex room. He did an excellent job as expected despite the high level of difficulty. Highly recommended!

We hired Pablo to lift up a large wall to wall carpet in order to locate some electrical outlets in the floor. Pablo worked tirelessly with the electrician and was a good team player. What started out as about a two hour project became an all day job. Pablo was able to re-schedule his day and stayed until this complex project was completed. His work was very professionally done and we can highly recommend him!!

It has been a few weeks since Pablo visited our home to repair our carpets.  I felt it important to let others know how professional this service was and continues to be.
Our carpet was purchased less than 2 years ago and unfortunately was not layed properly, we had loose bumps through out our home.  I was disappointed at first with the research in finding the best price to redo the shoddy job.  I figured I had already paid for it once and did not expect to have to oay an inflated price to do again.  As I said after several phone calls to many different companies we settled with Pablo at Curlys, not because his price was the best in fact he tells you up front that he may not be the best price but he will do the best work and he guaranteed his work!! I am so glad to have found Curly’s Carpet Repair. I had some damages on my carpets due to the wear and tear of having pets around. I honestly thought I had to replace the entire thing but Pablo fixed it all up and now it looks like the damages were never there in the first place. Pablo’s work was absolutely perfect. We needed someone to reinstall the carpet in our children’s bedroom (after some renovation work). Pablo showed up right at the time we had agreed upon and set to his work. There are no visible seams and he didn’t even need to put a metal cover between the bedroom and the hardwood floor in the hall. The transition is perfect and the job was outstanding.

Absolutely fantastic service! Most companies won’t work on Sundays, especially with a 1 hour notice, but Pablo came out and did a superb job at my Coal Harbour condo. My daughter made a mess in her room going wild with a red marker on a wide stretch of carpet about 2 x 5 feet. I tried to repair the job myself with some spare carpet I had in the attic and made a big mess of it. So we called Pablo and he came in and did a fantastic job not only cleaning my mess but doing a beautiful job of patching in a fix that is barely noticeable. We had to take some extra carpeting out of one of our closet to do the job properly, and even though Pablo had not quoted to fix the closet, he went above and beyond and stayed extra and fixed my closet too!
